Join DigitalOcean as a Senior Developer Advocate II. You will inspire and equip developers to build with DigitalOcean and work closely with Growth, Product and Engineering teams within the Developer Relations organization. What You’ll Do
Inspire and equip developers at developer events in your city. Engage authentically with software developers at in-person events such as meetups, conferences, hackathons and workshops. Create code and content that educates developers to succeed with DigitalOcean. Content may include written tutorials, videos, workshops, social media posts and other mediums used by developers. Provide insightful feedback to Product teams based on your usage of the products. Build with the platform to identify rough edges and opportunities for improvement. Guide and mentor the Developer Relations team based on your experience to best serve developers. Decide how to scale our developer relations efforts, evaluating the best ways to invest in videos, events, workshops and other tactics to authentically serve more developers. Significant experience in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, Ruby, Java, C#) with broad exposure to other ecosystems. Proven experience in creating publicly available high-quality, customer-facing technical content (videos, written content, research publications) and leading teams that produce that content.
