A well-established credit union is hiring a Data Engineer to strengthen its technology team. This role focuses on building and optimizing pipelines that power reporting, analytics, and member-focused applications. You’ll work with Python, SQL, and modern cloud platforms to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable data solutions that directly impact business outcomes.
Responsibilities
You’ll partner closely with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to design data systems that ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that enable reporting and analytics.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for reliability and performance.
Qualifications
3+ years in data engineering or a related discipline
Strong Python and SQL skills for ETL and data transformation
Hands-on experience with Airflow, Spark, or similar tools
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of data warehousing principles and database design
Clear communicator with cross-team collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
Docker, Kubernetes
Hadoop, Kafka, or Redshift
Data modeling and schema design
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Exposure to ML pipelines or MLOps
