Director of Salesforce and Enterprise Applications
The Director of Salesforce and Enterprise Applications will lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce and other enterprise applications to support the organization’s business objectives. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of enterprise systems, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep expertise in Salesforce platforms, enterprise application ecosystems, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Salesforce and enterprise applications, aligning with organizational goals and driving digital transformation. System Implementation and Optimization : Oversee the design, configuration, customization, and deployment of Salesforce solutions (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and other enterprise applications to meet business needs. Team Management : Drive progress through a Salesforce implementation partner. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Salesforce administrators, developers, and enterprise application specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and ensure adoption of enterprise systems. Integration and Data Management : Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce and enterprise applications with other systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS), maintaining data integrity and security. Vendor and Budget Management : Manage relationships with Salesforce and other third-party vendors, oversee licensing agreements, and control budgets for software and services. Governance and Compliance : Establish governance frameworks for application usage, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal policies. Performance Monitoring : Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of enterprise applications, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Change Management : Lead change management initiatives to support system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and user training programs. Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Experience : 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing Salesforce platforms and enterprise applications. Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale Salesforce implementations and integrations. Experience managing cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide application ecosystems. Technical Skills : Deep expertise in Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization (e.g., Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components). Familiarity with enterprise applications such as ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), HRIS (e.g., Workday), or other SaaS platforms. Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica) and APIs for system interoperability. Understanding of data architecture, security protocols, and cloud-based infrastructure. Soft Skills : Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on mentoring and professional development. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on delivering business value. Certifications
(Preferred): Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, or Salesforce Certified Architect (e.g., Technical Architect, Solution Architect). ITIL, PMP, or other relevant certifications in project or IT service management. Preferred Qualifications
