The Director, US Commercial Strategy & Insights will work closely with the US President of Orthopaedics to drive sales analytics and performance measurement for a $6 billion, 4,000-person sales organization. Location: one of the MedTech locations in West Chester, PA; Raynham, MA; Palm Beach Gardens, FL; New Brunswick, NJ; Cincinnati, OH; Jacksonville, FL; Irvine, CA; Warsaw, IN; Raritan, NJ. Responsibilities
Lead a team of 16 employees to deliver critical insights that shape regional strategy and execution. Create and present executive committee communications sharing both strategy and analytical insights about business performance. Responsible for Data Science, Commercial Strategy, Competitive Analytics, Commercial Analytics, and Account Management Analytics. Data Science: generate models to drive back-office efficiency and customer-facing insights; example projects include implant size prediction, image processing for hip X-rays, and pricing/inference tooling. Commercial Analytics: build data back-ends (e.g., Alteryx) and dashboards (e.g., Tableau) to drive strategy; maintain 200+ dashboards and provide opportunity analyses. Translate marketing and sales strategy into account-level opportunities and drive the sales funnel analysis. Competitive Analytics: analyze and forecast market data; diagnose competitive strategies and recommend responses. Account Management Analytics and Strategy: support Account Management and Offer development with analytics goals and performance measurement; tie planning to account management goals in collaboration with commercial teams. Responsible for leading a team capable of leveraging multiple data sources (e.g., AcuityMD claims data, internal sales data, external market data) to deliver insights; tools include SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau. The expected base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850. The Company offers a competitive, performance-based compensation program, including an annual bonus.
