State of Idaho Opportunity Position: Deputy Attorney General, OAG, Civil Litigation & Constitutional Defense Division Location: Boise, Idaho Closing Date: Open until filled. Start Date: To be determined upon hire. Salary: $90,000 to DOE. The Office is a qualifying employer for PSLF. Primary Duties

This attorney position will be a part of a dynamic civil litigation team that focuses on strategic and high-stakes litigation defending the sovereignty of Idaho and the rights of its citizens. The Civil Litigation and Constitutional Defense Division works closely with Idaho’s Solicitor General and represents the state in state and federal courts in high profile civil rights and constitutional claims, class actions, major tort claims, administrative law challenges, statutory matters, and section 1983 claims. The attorney selected will participate in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion and trial practice, and appeals. Minimum Qualifications

Must be a member in good standing with the Idaho State Bar or eligible to become a member without taking the bar exam through reciprocity or UBE Score Transfer. Possess excellent research, writing, client communication, negotiation, and civil litigation skills. How to Apply
