Overview
We are seeking an accomplished
Parts & Accessories Director
with Stellantis (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Mopar) experience to lead the strategic vision, growth, and profitability of our dealership’s parts operations. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple revenue channels—including retail, wholesale, service lane, and accessories—and ensuring operational excellence across the department. The Director will work closely with Fixed Operations leadership and Dealer Management to align departmental performance with overall dealership goals. Responsibilities
Set the long-term vision for the parts and accessories department, including growth in retail, wholesale, and e-commerce. Lead, mentor, and develop the management team within the parts department (managers, supervisors, counter staff). Partner with Fixed Operations Director, Service Director, and General Manager to maximize overall dealership efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with Stellantis/Mopar parts programs, standards, and return allowances. Oversee all daily operations of the parts department across retail, service, and wholesale channels. Implement and monitor KPIs including gross profit, absorption, inventory turns, fill rates, and order accuracy. Manage Stellantis DealerConnect, Mopar Parts Portal, CDK DMS, and third-party systems to streamline operations. Establish and enforce policies for inventory control, obsolescence reduction, and warranty return processing. Develop, manage, and achieve the departmental budget and financial goals. Monitor monthly financial statements and implement corrective action plans to address variances. Identify new revenue streams, including accessories sales, fleet accounts, and digital retailing opportunities. Collaborate with accounting and leadership on forecasting, cost controls, and expense management. Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale accounts, collision centers, and fleet customers. Develop and execute retail sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and Mopar accessory promotions. Ensure seamless collaboration with the service department to support technician productivity and customer satisfaction. Represent the department with integrity and professionalism in all customer interactions. Qualifications
Experience: 4–10+ years in dealership parts management, with 3+ years in a senior leadership or director role (Stellantis/Mopar preferred). Systems Knowledge: Expert in Stellantis DealerConnect, Mopar Parts Portal, and CDK DMS. Leadership: Proven track record of leading multi-layered teams and driving organizational growth. Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of dealership financial statements, P&L management, and absorption strategies.
