Base pay range : $38.00/hr - $48.00/hr
This role is a contract-to-hire position with the potential for permanent employment. The attorney will join a growing legal team on a contract-to-hire basis, focusing on family law cases with the opportunity to expand into probate and related matters. Hybrid schedule with in-office and optional remote work.
About the Role We’re looking for a licensed Colorado attorney to join a growing legal team on a contract-to-hire basis. The role centers on family law cases with the opportunity to expand into probate and related matters.
Responsibilities
Manage 25-40 active cases at a time
Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal filings
Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and conferences
Advise clients on divorce, guardianship, spousal support, and related issues
Conduct legal research and contribute to case strategy
Work independently while also collaborating with colleagues on complex cases
Requirements
Active license to practice law in Colorado (required)
J.D. from an accredited law school
2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably including family law and probate
Will train on practice areas IF you have an active CO attorney license and some experience practicing law
Strong courtroom, writing, and client communication skills
Organized and able to manage a fast-paced caseload
Personal injury experience a plus
