Senior Fund Accountant
to their team. This opening is due to continued growth, and the firm offers strong long-term career development. The position reports directly to the Head of Accounting & Finance, a supportive leader known for mentorship and maintaining a team with very low turnover. What makes this role unique is the combination of responsibilities: while core fund accounting and financial reporting are central, the Senior Fund Accountant will also gain exposure to investment decision-making—participating in discussions around whether to pursue certain investments and how capital is best deployed. Base pay range: $115,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for investment funds in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Maintain general ledgers, journal entries, and supporting workpapers. Ensure accuracy of capital calls, distributions, allocations, and carried interest calculations. Monitor management fees, performance fees, and expense allocations. Assist in preparing investor reporting packages, capital account statements, and ad hoc analyses. Support responses to investor inquiries regarding fund performance, allocations, and statements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or progress toward CPA preferred. 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally a blend of Big 4 public accounting and fund accounting (private equity, hedge fund, real estate, or asset management). Job details
