Senior Environmental or Civil Engineer

You will lead
high-profile shoreline and aquatic sediment remediation, habitat restoration, and upland remediation projects
across the Pacific Northwest. In this role, you’ll: Manage and oversee multidisciplinary project teams, including external contractors and teaming partners. Conduct site evaluations, feasibility studies, and prepare design drawings and specifications. Provide construction support and oversight on complex remediation projects. Collaborate with regulatory agencies and clients to ensure successful project outcomes. Perform quality control reviews and mentor junior engineers. Must-Haves
10+ years
of experience as an environmental or civil engineer in consulting, construction, or a related field. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering . Professional Engineering (PE) license
in any U.S. state, with ability to obtain reciprocity in WA and OR. Experience preparing and reviewing engineering plans/specs with a focus on constructability. Ability to obtain/maintain certifications (HAZWOPER, CPR, TWIC, etc.). Valid driver’s license. Preferred Experience
5–10 years
in remedial design/execution, ideally with shoreline & sediment remediation. 3+ years using
CADD / Civil3D
for plans, drawings, and volume calculations. Fieldwork experience with contaminated soil, sediment, and groundwater. Familiarity with
Washington State
environmental regulatory frameworks (Oregon experience a plus). Strong background in construction oversight and regulatory engagement. Seniority level
