Program Coordinator
Salary:
$70,000.00 Location:
Jersey City, NJ Responsibilities Supervise Managers and oversee all clinical aspects of the program, ensuring timely and effective handling. Ensure Residential Habilitation Plans are updated and revised as needed. Coordinate Planning, Shift, Annual, Semi-Annual, and other required meetings; ensure minutes are taken and maintained. Supervise and ensure all house records comply with OPWDD regulations and SCO policy and procedures, completed in a timely manner, and of high quality. Provide in-services for Pre-Services and Annual Trainings; keep program books (Consumer, Financial, MAR, Medical, etc.) in order and up to date. Monitor overall operation of the houses, including building maintenance (e.g., boiler checks, lawn care) and facility standards. Oversee Medicaid billing; ensure services are provided and documented in accordance with Medicaid and Waiver regulations. Maintain compliance with regulations and provide leadership and supervision to staff. Ii. Qualifications Masters degree preferred; BA/BS preferred. Minimum of two years supervisory experience. Minimum of one year of experience managing an ICF/IRA. Working knowledge of ICF/IRA regulations; ability to handle emergencies professionally. NYS Driver's License. Iii. Relationship With Others Interact with state agencies and other providers; maintain relationships with families and correspondents; provide supervision and mentoring to supervisees in a positive and supportive manner. Additional Characteristics Be a team player; sensitive to cultural differences among staff and clients. Believe in people's ability to grow and change; foster a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families. Ability to set limits and maintain the helping role of practitioner and intervene appropriately. Iv. Working Conditions 35 hour/week, flexible schedule; must be available to respond to emergencies and conduct random/spot checks of programs. V. Scope Of Responsibility Responsible for all aspects of assigned residential programs on Long Island, including the physical plant, financial records, interdisciplinary treatment team, and recertification of programs; responsible for hiring and supervising management staff. Responsible for payroll, purchasing, and billing procedures, and for preparation and monitoring of fiscal ledgers. Interfacing with LIDDSO, screening and selection of consumers, and involvement in development projects.
