The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for building partnerships across the organization to develop and execute HR solutions. This role understands the business objectives and embeds them in service offerings to leadership, employees, and independent contractors. The HRBP coordinates with leadership to implement organization-wide strategies, uphold policies, coach across the organization, and drive an engaged, thriving culture. Responsibilities
Partner with Leadership: Develop and drive plans to optimize talent, structure, process, and culture; serve as a trusted advisor on HR best practices, change initiatives, organizational design, compensation, and benefits strategies to support business direction. Deliver HR Solutions: Address engagement, performance management, and learning & development; collaborate with leadership and employees to maintain a positive, productive environment and improve retention. Policy Implementation: Create and implement HR policies and programs; support projects and processes; facilitate and track employee relations. Coaching and Development: Build relationships, coach managers and leaders in people management priorities, and identify learning opportunities. Data Analysis & Decision Support: Use people analytics to inform workforce decisions and measure program impact related to recruitment, retention, or development. Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with legal compliance and risk awareness. Performance Guidance: Provide day-to-day coaching, career development, and disciplinary guidance as needed. Talent Management & Organization Design: Develop high-quality programs aligned with business objectives; contribute to workforce and succession planning. Other related duties as assigned. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Understanding of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies; ability to interpret and apply them. Understanding of organizational structure, job roles, compensation practices, and HR administration. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong time management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to drive projects independently, determine collaboration needs, and escalate appropriately. Strong relationship-building and collaboration across internal and external partners and locations; high emotional intelligence. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to articulate objectives and present to teams and stakeholders. Growth mindset and team-oriented behavior; collaborative approach across geographies. Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; major in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field preferred. HR Certification (SPHR/SHRM-SCP or equivalent) preferred. Experience
7+ years of HR experience in a healthcare environment required. Experience developing and executing people programs and training required. Experience navigating employee relations situations required. Experience managing employment agreements preferred. Experience supporting healthcare operations preferred. Seniority level
