The Senior Associate Attorney will be responsible for full-cycle management of client legal matters, ensuring high-quality counsel and a seamless client experience. Reporting to Senior Counsel and/or the Partner, this role will serve as a key leader in both legal strategy and client service, while providing mentorship and supervision to supporting legal staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment and is seeking to deepen their impact within a values-driven firm. The role will have a strong focus on Trust Administration, among other areas of practice, offering the chance to work on meaningful and complex client matters. Responsibilities
Oversee assigned client cases with a focus on strategy, research, execution, and communication Deliver high-quality legal advice across one or more specialty practice areas (e.g., trust administration, litigation, corporate law, tax, real estate, estate planning, etc.) Supervise and mentor legal support staff, including Paralegals and Legal Assistants Draft, review, and manage all case-related legal documentation and filings Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying business development opportunities Uphold ethical legal standards and represent the firm’s core values Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in the California State Bar Demonstrated experience managing complex legal matters within a defined practice area Proven leadership in supervising and mentoring junior legal professionals Exceptional legal writing, research, and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills; able to thrive in high-pressure situations Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive base salary of $125,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonuses with an OTE potential exceeding $208,000. The role also includes a robust benefits package featuring comprehensive health coverage, a retirement plan with firm contributions, generous paid time off, and continued education support.
