Role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI and SSRS, with a transition from SSRS to Power BI for the client. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. Write advanced SQL queries and stored procedures to support financial and billing-related reporting. Develop and maintain SSRS reports. Convert legacy reports into scalable and maintainable Power BI solutions. Build and manage ETL processes using SSIS and Power BI Dataflows. Perform data analysis and provide insights related to various data sources. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and reporting requirements to ensure report accuracy and usability. Automate data refresh, notifications, and report delivery workflows using SQL Reporting Services and/or Power Automate to streamline business processes and reduce manual effort. Prepare and maintain financial reporting within the Open Gov online reporting platform, ensuring alignment with internal and external reporting requirements. Qualifications
Approximately 10+ years in IT with a focus on the Microsoft stack for dashboards and reports. Experience migrating from SSRS to Power BI. Certified preferred. BA degree. Very polished professional with strong communication skills and the ability to provide references (3). Candidate should reside in Southern California for the hybrid/onsite arrangement.
