sectors. This role oversees all phases of engineering—from concept through construction—ensuring safe, code-compliant, and cost-effective solutions. You’ll manage a high-performing team, coordinate closely with project and field leaders, and drive technical excellence across our operations. This is a key leadership position within a fast-paced, field-driven organization. Responsibilities

Lead the engineering team in delivering complete, code-compliant electrical designs for industrial projects, including Oil & Gas and Manufacturing facilities. Oversee all phases of engineering — from conceptual design through construction support — ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with project goals. Coordinate closely with project managers, estimators, and field teams to integrate design and construction activities in a true design-build environment. Ensure all engineering work meets applicable safety standards, industry codes (e.g. NEC, API, IEC), and client specifications. Drive standardization across engineering practices, improving quality, consistency, and scalability of project execution. Provide technical leadership on complex projects, resolving challenges quickly and guiding key design decisions. Represent the engineering function in client meetings, project reviews, and permitting discussions as needed. Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve constructability through value engineering and innovative solutions. Support business development efforts by reviewing proposals, estimating design effort, and offering technical insight during project pursuit. Hire, mentor, and develop engineering staff to build a high-performing, accountable team. Monitor industry trends and technology developments to ensure the company stays at the forefront of industrial electrical design. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role. Proven experience delivering design-build electrical projects in the Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing sectors. Deep understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, API, IEEE, OSHA, NFPA 70E). Strong working knowledge of power distribution, motor controls, instrumentation, automation systems, and grounding design. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop engineering teams across multiple projects and disciplines. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients, field teams, and executive leadership. Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with construction practices, field coordination, and the unique challenges of industrial job sites. Experience with CAD platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, SKM, EasyPower) is a plus. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of engineering and project delivery.
