UCSF Physics Research Laboratory (UCSF PRL) - Junior/Assistant/Associate/Full Specialist The UCSF PRL (PI: Y. Seo) is seeking a Junior, Assistant, Associate, or Full Specialist. The Specialist will focus on computational modeling using Monte Carlo techniques, as well as modeling of radiotheranostics, modeling of alpha particles, Auger electrons, and conversion electrons for the effects of DNA damage. Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Specialists appointed at the Junior rank must possess a bachelor's degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of research experience. Specialists appointed at the Assistant rank must possess a master's degree (or equivalent degree) or a bachelor's degree with three or more years of research experience. Specialists appointed at the Associate rank must possess a master's degree (or equivalent degree) or five to ten years of research experience. Specialists appointed at the Full rank must possess a terminal degree (or equivalent degree) or ten or more years of research experience. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. The selected candidate must meet all of the qualifications at the time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications: Post-graduate training in field Experience in Monte Carlo simulation of particle transport, tracking, and geometry. The advanced degree (at least master's level) in physics, medical physics, nuclear engineering, bioengineering, computer science, electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering, applied mathematics, biophysics, radiological sciences, optical sciences, or any related science/engineering field.
