Overview
Amans Lab - Junior/Assistant/Associate/Full Specialist The Amans Lab is seeking a Junior, Assistant, Associate, or Full Specialist. This opportunity is available at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging for a Research Specialist to join a collaborative research lab focused on innovation in medical devices. The candidate will support the design and evaluation of new medical devices, work closely with clinicians and researchers, and assist in experimental planning, data analysis, and preparation of protocols and reports. This position offers the chance to be part of translational research with real-world clinical impact and is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience at medical innovation.
Required Qualifications
Specialists appointed at the Junior rank must possess a baccalaureate degree in a related science (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of research experience. Specialists appointed at the Assistant rank must possess a master's degree (or equivalent degree) or a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) with three or more years of research experience. Specialists appointed at the Associate rank must possess a master's degree (or equivalent degree) or five to ten years of research experience. Specialists appointed at the Full rank must possess a terminal degree (or equivalent degree) or ten or more years of research experience. Applicants must meet all the qualifications by the time of hire. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission.
Preferred Qualifications
Post graduate training in field Independent specialized research Master\'s degree in engineering, medicine, or the life sciences Strong commitment to research and a clear interest in advancing the development and evaluation of novel technologies for the treatment of cerebrovascular conditions.
See Table 24B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $55,000-$194,800.
