Continuous improvement of monitoring and observability capabilities Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize software delivery for scale, performance, and cost Monitor, log, and alert using tools like New Relic and Sentry to ensure high uptime and preemptive issue resolution System reliability efforts including Sentry, application log monitoring, system availability, and performance monitoring Design, setup, and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab Kubernetes and ECS orchestration for containerization and deployment Manage and optimize AWS resources with focus on performance, security, and cost Deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform or Pulumi Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and deployments Create and maintain internal tooling and processes to improve efficiency Design, improve, and maintain internal developer tooling (local environments, CLI utilities, automation scripts) to enhance productivity and experience Qualifications — Must Haves
5-8 years in a senior DevOps role Proven experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code Advanced skills in health triage using logs, alerts, and forensic data Hands-on experience with Grafana for monitoring and observability Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Sentry, Splunk, Sumo Logic Strong focus on system reliability and performance monitoring Experience building and supporting full-stack internal tools with JavaScript/TypeScript or equivalent Knowledge of networking, security, and database management in cloud settings Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration Scripting proficiency (Bash or equivalent) Strong written and verbal communication with proactive problem-solving Remote-work experience and ability to communicate on Slack or equivalent Fundamental understanding of DevSecOps practices Experience in an Agile environment Nice to Haves
Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Docker Experience with other cloud providers (Azure or Google Cloud Platform) Prior fintech or startup experience How to apply
