Account Manager (Finance Recruitment) Your Go-To Partner for Finance Hiring Solutions Location: Cambridge, MA Responsibilities

Serve as client’s trusted advisor, demonstrate knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and team. Technical planning and advising of clients that include high-net-worth individuals/families as well as trusts and estates. Manage multiple Estate, Gift, and Fiduciary client tax engagements simultaneously. Review complex estate (Form 706), gift (Form 709), and fiduciary (Form 1041) income tax returns, including related tax schedules, forms, and fiduciary accounting documents. Manage staff on engagement deliverables (such as tax returns, work papers, etc.); complete technical and strategic reviews as a member of the final engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are met; ensure on-time delivery and on budget. Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, and alternatives. Review complex tax returns including international, federal, and multi-state returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts & estates, and foundations, and their associated C corporations, S corporations, and partnerships. Understand clients’ goals and needs and service clients directly. Own client relationships and work. Strategize with partners regarding tax planning. Provide clients with recommendations and guidance on how to achieve their goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth with clients. Research tax issues and provide guidance to clients. Work closely with staff, and assist senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff. Foster a team environment; demonstrate support of management and decisions and build a positive culture. Participate in practice development activities that lead to the generation of new business and opportunities for cross-serves. Build effective long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to provide a tailored service. Other Duties

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation 8+ years of technical tax experience in public accounting, or related field, with 3 in managerial role Strong experience with individual taxation (high net worth) CPA, EA or JD certification is required Researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability, strong operational and project management skills Seniority level
