Position Summary We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Director of Licensing and Business Development to lead the growth and management of our global licensing portfolio and strategic partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in managing a global deal pipeline, leading contract negotiations and reviews, and supporting partnership-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of intellectual property rights and the ability to cultivate relationships with key industry partners to enhance brand presence across multiple categories. This role will be responsible for managing existing licensees, developing new licensing opportunities, and executing strategic partnerships that drive brand expansion and revenue growth. This position will also serve as the main liaison between the brand management team, sales teams, legal and finance for all license agreements, financial tracking & reporting and management of licensor royalty payments. Responsibilities

Licensing Leadership: Develop and implement global licensing strategies that align with brand and business objectives and maximize market penetration and revenue. Oversee the performance of existing licensing partners, ensuring compliance, brand alignment integrity, and revenue targets. Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance processes, working closely with legal and finance teams. Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, sales, finance, product development, and legal to support global licensing initiatives. Review and refine licensing agreements to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation. Strategic Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnership opportunities that extend the brand into new markets, platforms, or experiences. Build and maintain senior-level relationships with potential partners. Collaborate cross-functionally to align partnership goals with broader business strategy and brand positioning. Lead integration planning and execution for new partnerships, ensuring long-term success and scalability. Deal Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust global pipeline of licensing and partnership opportunities. Lead the end-to-end deal process—from prospecting and evaluation to negotiation and execution. Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of deal status, timelines, and key performance indicators. Provide regular updates to executive leadership on pipeline health, risks, and opportunities. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the senior point of contact for key partners and internal stakeholders. Resolve complex partner issues and ensure long-term relationship success. Market Insights & Brand Stewardship: Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy. Ensure all licensed products and partnerships reflect the brand’s identity, values, and quality standards. Represent the company at key industry events, licensing expos, and conferences. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in licensing, brand partnerships, or business development, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Proven success in managing global licensing programs and strategic partnerships. Strong experience in deal pipeline management, contract negotiation, and legal collaboration. Familiarity with acquisition processes and licensing due diligence. Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship management skills. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Requirements
