DZYNE Technologies is seeking a results-driven
Capture Manager
to lead the pursuit of new business opportunities within our Long-Range Aircraft business unit. This role is responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive capture strategies, coordination of proposal efforts, and leadership of cross-functional teams to secure successful contract awards. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. The Capture Manager will drive efforts across the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification and qualification through proposal submission and contract award. Responsibilities
Develop and implement winning capture strategies aligned with business objectives and customer needs. Lead and manage all phases of the capture and proposal process, including planning, resource coordination, schedule management, and compliance oversight. Collaborate with customers to refine requirements and shape acquisition strategies. Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform proposal strategy and pricing. Assist with generating compliant, compelling proposals, including technical volumes and supporting documentation. Partner with technical, operational, and business development teams to establish basis-of-estimate, teaming arrangements, and solution architectures. Support proposal development activities, including kick-off meetings, writing assignments, color team reviews, and final submission. Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submission of all proposals in accordance with RFP requirements, FAR, and internal standards. Identify and mitigate capture-related risks. Contribute to continuous process improvement and share best practices with the BD team. Prepare program kickoff meetings in collaboration with Program Managers to ensure seamless transition to execution after contract award. Conduct internal team meetings, delegate tasks, and maintain cross-disciplinary alignment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); advanced Word skills required. Solid understanding of the DoD acquisition process and FAR. Proven ability to lead and manage complex capture efforts under tight deadlines. Attention to detail, organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and professional integrity. Ability to work independently in a hybrid or on-site setting.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Successful track record of leading winning proposal efforts for DoD or IC contracts. Experience with unmanned aircraft systems, ISR and related technologies. Shipley Capture Manager certified training. APMP certified training. Familiarity with basic graphic design, Adobe tools, and web-based applications. Technical proficiency and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Education/Certifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, Engineering, or related field.
Clearance
No security clearance is required, but it is highly desired. Travel

Work environment may range from general office conditions to travel as required. Physical Demands
The physical demands are those normally required to perform the essential functions of this job. Salary
$170,000 - $190,000 per year. Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, and skills. Eligible for annual bonus. Pay range is a general guideline. Benefits
