Overview
Head of Total Rewards Operations – Americas at Siemens Healthineers. The role focuses on day-to-day operational delivery and execution of Total Rewards processes, reporting to the Head of Americas Shared Services. It is not responsible for Total Rewards strategy or program design. Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Lead daily operational activities across Benefits Administration, Compensation Administration, Leave & Absence, and Mobility & Delegations Administration. Oversee end-to-end administration ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and external regulations. Drive adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and operational KPIs across all areas. Compliance & Controls: Develop, maintain, and enforce standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls across benefits, compensation, leave, and mobility processes. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, labor laws, tax rules, and company policies. Act as liaison for internal audits and compliance reviews related to these operational areas. People Management & Training: Supervise and mentor administrative staff across Benefits & Pension, Compensation, Leave & Absence, and Mobility & Delegations. Provide technical guidance on complex cases and support inquiry resolution. Foster team development, process ownership, and accountability. System & Process Optimization: Partner with HRMS, IT, and vendors to ensure system stability, enhancements, and reporting capabilities (e.g., Workday, Dayforce). Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance accuracy. Maintain operational calendars and cut-off schedules in alignment with service delivery requirements. Reporting & Reconciliation: Oversee operational reporting, audits, and reconciliation of benefits, compensation, leave, and mobility transactions. Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, and Accounting to ensure accurate cost allocations and accruals. Support preparation of year-end operational reports as required. Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a key point of contact for HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors for operational topics. Communicate policies and procedures clearly across internal stakeholder groups. Contribute to cross-functional operational projects, including system implementations and compliance initiatives. 10+ years of progressive experience in HR operations (benefits, compensation administration, leave management, or mobility), including 5+ years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of U.S., Canadian, and/or LATAM regulatory practices in benefits, leave, and compensation administration. Experience managing HR operations through platforms such as Workday and Dayforce preferred. Experience in a shared services or global operational environment is a plus. Skills
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop team members. Additional Attributes
HR-related certifications (CEBS, GPHR, CCP or similar) preferred. Experience with operational audits and SOX/internal control environments. Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems a plus. Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to operational excellence. Compensation
Annual base pay: Min $221,400 - Max $332,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If commission eligible, commissions are based on individual and/or company performance. Benefits
