Xometry is seeking a visionary and results-oriented leader to join as the Director of Product, Buyer Experience & Storefront. In this pivotal role, you will elevate the user experience and optimize the buyer journey on Xometry’s marketplace, leading product strategy and execution for storefront and buyer interactions to drive engagement and conversion. You will shape and execute the product vision for a seamless, intuitive, and efficient buyer experience. You will lead a team of product managers and collaborate with design and engineering to optimize buyer interactions from discovery through checkout, ensuring each stage delivers maximum value. This role requires a blend of product expertise, leadership, and a strong understanding of buyer needs and marketplace dynamics. You will contribute to product strategies, foster cross-functional collaboration, and mentor your team to deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with Xometry’s mission and growth objectives. Responsibilities
Develop Storefront Product Vision and Strategy: Define and drive the product strategy for the Buyer Experience and Storefront teams, aligning with Xometry’s business goals and the long-term marketplace vision for a low-friction buyer journey across key touchpoints. Lead and Inspire Product Teams: Lead a team of product managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute a roadmap focused on enhancing the buyer experience, optimizing conversions, and supporting business growth. Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, marketing, sales, design, data science, and stakeholders to align on priorities, roadmaps, and execution. Utilize Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data, market insights, and customer feedback to inform decisions; define KPIs and monitor success, adjusting strategies as needed. Champion the Customer-Centric Focus: Advocate for the buyer’s experience with customer insights to create exceptional digital experiences across storefront and buyer journey stages. Provide Leadership and Communication: Lead your team and serve as a key point of contact between stakeholders and product teams; present updates and opportunities to stakeholders. Drive Marketplace Optimization: Lead continuous improvements to the marketplace to remove friction and streamline the path to purchase within storefront and buyer flows. Mentor and Develop Your Team: Foster collaboration, accountability, and an outcome-driven mindset within the product management team. Outcomes You Will Influence

Expand the marketplace by driving initiatives that simplify adoption of new manufacturing processes and categories, increasing buyer engagement and repeat purchases. Enhance Buyer Acquisition and Pre-Purchase Engagement:
Improve buyer acquisition and pre-purchase flows to raise first impressions and conversion rates through tailored content and design. Optimize Purchase Flow and Conversion:
Transform the core purchase flow to minimize buyer effort and increase conversion rates; enhance quoting and purchasing speed and responsiveness. Support Strategic Integrations:
Ensure a seamless experience for strategic integrations with neighborhood products (e.g., CAD software) within integrated workflows. Qualifications
At least 8+ years in product management with a track record of leading product teams or significant product areas; Director-level or senior management experience is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Solid understanding of digital marketplaces, particularly in B2B, e-commerce, or SaaS, focusing on optimizing buyer experience and engagement. Strong ability to leverage data and analytics to inform decisions and drive product performance. Experience collaborating across engineering, design, data science, marketing, and customer success with a collaborative, influencing style. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strategic thinking and analytical skills with a track record of delivering results that drive growth and customer satisfaction.
