Customer Service Specialists engage closely with both wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and providing informative answers about Sherwin-Williams products. This role involves recommending optimal solutions and efficiently resolving customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction. Staying updated on product features is essential to maintain the high quality and visual standards of the store.
The individual in this role will work within a 20-mile radius of store #3984, located at 338 Montauk Highway, Wainscott, NY 11937.

Key Responsibilities Include: Delivering exceptional customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Assisting customers in person and over the phone to identify their needs and recommend suitable products. Building and maintaining trust with wholesale and retail customers. Processing sales transactions accurately and in line with company policies. Achieving sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintaining organized work order files and formulas. Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse as required. Tinting and mixing products to meet customer requirements. Stocking shelves and arranging displays to maintain store aesthetics. Ensuring cleanliness of store equipment and work environments. Loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed. Maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with control procedures. Proactively suggesting improvements to enhance sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship. Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to work varied scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: A High School diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position. Previous experience selling paint and related products. Experience with tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to effectively communicate in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
