As a Product Manager, you are responsible for building products that improve how the Internet works. PMs sit at the intersection of software development, design, and business strategy. You shape high-level goals and are hands-on with launches, research, specs, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering. About The Role
As Product Manager for
SSL/TLS , you will shape a core part of our product experience. SSL/TLS enables secure connections across our products and is central to our platform. You will: Define and communicate product vision for SSL/TLS Gather user feedback and contribute to the roadmap Collaborate with engineers, designers, and security experts to deliver features Responsibilities
Own the priorities and scope for Cloudflare’s SSL/TLS product space. Act as a nerve center to connect engineering, program management, marketing, revenue, and partners to ensure timely delivery with maximum impact. Collaborate across product verticals to prioritize systemic improvements for enterprise customers. Engage directly with customers to understand usage and inform the roadmap. Work with data to quantify problems and opportunities and measure impact. What You'll Do
Contribute to shaping SSL/TLS, including management of certificates, secrets storage, and related Cloudflare platforms, at global scale. Work with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, reduce friction, and design intuitive experiences. Define and track KPIs related to user engagement and product adoption. Qualifications
5+ years in product management, solutions engineering, or related roles Experience designing or contributing to habit-forming product experiences Experience defining and tracking KPIs to measure impact Strong collaboration with engineering and design teams Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments Customer-centric mindset with strong user empathy Excellent communication and attention to detail Curiosity and willingness to learn technical topics, especially security or observability Engineering fluency or technical background to engage effectively with engineers Bonus Points
PM experience for security/certificate-related products Experience delivering cloud infrastructure products at global scale Data fluency to work with data directly and persuade others Compensation & Equity
Compensation may vary by location. Bay Area: $202,000 – $246,000; NYC/WA/DC/CA (excluding Bay Area): $192,000 – $234,000. Equity eligible through Cloudflare’s equity plan. Benefits
