12+ months contract role Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibrations on equipment in an applications lab environment. Safely handle hazardous materials using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include Air Purifying Respirators (APR) and/or Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as process development, hardware, and software engineering to support R&D activities, customer demonstrations, and project commitments. Install and support prototype equipment, including developing procedures and documentation for new systems with limited or no existing guidelines. Provide technical support at domestic and international customer sites for system/tool issues that require on-site expertise. Contribute to field and customer support activities, including hardware and software troubleshooting. Occasionally train Field Service Engineers, Engineering Technicians, or Process Engineers. Requirements
Hands-on experience with preventative and corrective maintenance in an R&D or lab environment. Strong ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, fluidic, and vacuum equipment. Proficient with hand tools and electronic test equipment for maintenance, repair, and assembly tasks. Knowledge and experience working safely with hazardous gases and liquids. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear appropriate safety or cleanroom gear. Excellent communication and prioritization skills to handle dynamic and consistent tasks effectively. Semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
