Overview
Security Specialist role at gTANGIBLE Corporation (gTC). Location: JSSO North (Pentagon and the Mark Center, Alexandria, VA). Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI eligible. Requisition Type: Contingent. This role supports the Joint Staff Security Office (JSSO) in a range from unclassified to TS/SCI level, providing services including personnel clearances, SCI facility management, safeguarding of classified information, security education and training, and related activities.
Responsibilities
Provide monthly inputs to the Monthly Status Report.
Provide sufficient support to sustain the JSSO core missions.
Ensure processing of received taskings through the Joint Staff Action Processing (JSAP) management system / Enterprise Task Management System (ETMS2).
Support program tasks across disciplines with timely delivery and quality:
INFOSEC Specialist: classification management, security incident tracking and inquiries, security training, and related actions for gov ernment approvals.
COMSEC Specialist: manage JS COMSEC account, support COMSEC processes, inventory, and maintenance per national policy; operate DIAS and KMI systems; conduct inspections and EAP/EDP activities.
PERSEC Specialist: personnel security policy application, collateral and SCI clearance processing, visit requests, forms processing, and security training.
Privacy Act Specialist: update Privacy Program policies and procedures, SORNs, PIAs, breach reporting, and Privacy Act training.
OPSEC Specialist: develop and implement the JS OPSEC Program; maintain COIs, OPSEC training and reviews for public release.
PHYSEC Specialist: SCIF policy and procedures, training, inspections, badging, space accreditation, and related activities.
InT Specialist: Insider Threat training, hub operations, records management.
Knowledge and Qualifications
Fluent in English with ability to read, write, and comprehend government documentation.
Working knowledge of basic Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of U.S. Government Security Programs; ability to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate security programs to meet mission requirements.
Ability to review, analyze, and resolve complex issues.
Minimum of 6 years in the respective field.
COMSEC Specialist:
note: NSA IAEC2112 certification and EKMS course are required
(converted to bold as per allowed tags would not include emphasis; see below).
InT Specialist: NITTF Hub Operations Course and CDSE InT 312 or CCITP-F certification as applicable.
PHYSEC Specialist: ODNI SCIF Course or equivalent.
TS/SCI eligible clearance.
Experience delivering quality customer service to government personnel, military, contractors, and visitors.
