Overview
Salesforce Admin/Architect (Remote/Temporary Six Month Contract) Sept 2025 - February 2026 This is a temporary contract role seeking a high-impact, expert-level Salesforce Architect / Senior Administrator to support the Business Systems team with technical leadership, solution architecture, and hands-on configuration across a wide range of business needs. The Senior Administrator will guide platform strategy and implementation, helping Salesforce administrators and business stakeholders navigate technical decisions and evaluate when to use declarative tools versus custom development. Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted Salesforce architect, providing leadership on technical design, scalable solutioning, and platform best practices. Design and document high-quality, sustainable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related platform tools. Act as a go-to resource for Salesforce administrators, providing technical guidance, design input, and troubleshooting. Partner with RevOps, ProductOps, Support, and other teams to gather requirements and recommend effective platform-based solutions. Evaluate and advise on solution approaches, including when to apply declarative tools (e.g., Flows, validation rules) versus custom development (e.g., Apex, LWC, Visualforce). Review and validate configurations, automations, and customizations to ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards. Maintain platform stability and performance through sound configuration practices, governance, and proactive issue resolution. Contribute to strategic Salesforce initiatives and assist in delivering key projects during the contract term. Qualifications
6+ years of Salesforce.com experience, including advanced administration and solution architecture. Deep understanding of Salesforce configuration, automation, security, and data model capabilities. Familiarity with the Salesforce development stack, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC), with the ability to evaluate and recommend development strategies when needed. Proven experience designing scalable solutions using native Salesforce features (e.g., Flows, Lightning pages, custom objects, validation rules, sharing models). Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementable designs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative. Experience supporting fast-paced, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders and initiatives. Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator and/or Salesforce Certified Application Architect (or relevant certifications). Experience working in an enterprise Salesforce org with complex integrations. Background supporting EdTech, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses.
