Overview
Store Manager (in Training) at Sun Auto Tire & Service. Compensation: up to $75,000 annual earning potential, based on experience. Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 (depends on experience). Responsibilities
People
– Set expectations and communicate with employees on responsibilities, goals, training, development and customer service. Coach or counsel employees toward desired behaviors; ensure policy compliance; partner with HR to recruit, interview and hire; conduct regular performance evaluations. Financials
– Analyze business trends, develop plans to maximize sales and meet/exceed targets; share financial results in store meetings; review invoices and daily reports to identify opportunities; maintain controls over assets and follow closing procedures. Facilities
– Ensure store cleanliness front and back; maintain housekeeping and merchandising standards; conduct equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance; manage parts returns and credits. Qualifications
Two or more years of management or equivalent automotive industry experience. Experience coaching and developing team members through effective communication. Ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly and annual plans with clear goals. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales and profit goals. Automotive Technician experience preferred but not required. Valid Texas driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 30 days). State Inspector license (current or ability to obtain within 30 days). Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends. Working Conditions
The role may involve exposure to moderate to loud noises, dust, fumes, and other materials. Work environment temperature may vary between extreme heat and cold. Physical requirements include standing up to eight hours, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and other mobility tasks. Vision and hearing to perform duties adequately. Benefits
