Overview
Director, Product Management, Developer Experience - Secure Foundations Platform. Capital One is a high-tech company focused on empowering developers and embedding security into the development lifecycle. This role leads the Continuous Automated Refresh (CAR) program to automate vulnerability remediation and artifact management across foundational software components.
Responsibilities
Define and champion the product vision and multi-year strategy for automated vulnerability remediation at Capital One.
Lead the product roadmap for the Continuous Automated Refresh (CAR) platform, advancing it from program to mature, scalable product.
Partner with senior leaders in Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Risk to meet enterprise security and operational needs.
Understand internal software development pain points and build solutions that make secure development the easiest path.
Define, monitor, and evangelize KPIs to measure toil reduction, time-to-remediate, and impact on developer productivity and satisfaction.
Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and stakeholder engagement to delivery, launch, and continuous improvement.
Serve as enterprise-wide subject matter expert on the product and communicate value and progress to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
At least 7 years of experience in Product Management
Currently has, or is pursuing, one of the following with start date before or on the scheduled start date:
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (examples: Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, CS, CE, Software Engineering, Information Systems)
Master's Degree in a quantitative field or MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading product management for developer platforms, DevOps tools, or large-scale enterprise platforms
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, especially in application security, vulnerability management, or software supply chain security
Ability to translate complex business strategy and technical challenges into a clear, data-driven product roadmap
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams (engineering, design, risk management)
Excellent communication skills with a track record of engaging and influencing senior executives
