Sr. Principal IT Product Manager, AI Solutions G&A Your Career
AI and automation are key enablers for Palo Alto Networks to grow at the scale and speed necessary to support our cybersecurity customers. As the Sr. Principal IT Product Manager for AI Solutions G&A, you are an expert in the field—possessing a unique blend of deep and broad knowledge. You will be at the forefront of identifying significant opportunities and driving the product vision, strategies, and roadmaps for our business, supporting both code-based and low-code/no-code approaches to accelerate development and democratize access to AI solutions across the organization. This role requires a leader who operates with a wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches on critical, leading-edge issues that impact overall functional organization success. You will work on future concepts, products, and methodologies, inventing new ways to incorporate them into organizational processes. Your strategic mindset will be crucial in developing path-breaking solutions that accelerate the journey from concept to large-scale deployment, enabling aspirational AI-centric business vision and innovative applications across the organization. Your Impact
Business Strategy & Strategy Mindset:
Define and champion a bold, AI-first product vision and strategic roadmap for the Enterprise AI Platform. You will use professional concepts to develop resolutions to critical issues and broad design matters, ensuring the platform's alignment with broader organizational business strategy. This includes collaborating with G&A leadership to identify areas where AI can drive financial forecasting accuracy, optimize human resources operations, or streamline legal contract review processes.
Business Insight & Customer Focus:
Act as a strategic partner to business leaders across G&A functions, identifying high-impact opportunities for AI and automation. Cultivate deep empathy for internal customers by researching their needs, ensuring solutions are user-driven and deliver tangible value. For example, you will work directly with the Finance team to understand pain points in quarterly reporting or close processes, partner with Legal to pinpoint inefficiencies in intellectual property management, or collaborate with Talent Acquisition to improve efficiencies in hiring.
Drives Results & Problem Solving:
Champion an outcome-driven approach by defining clear success criteria, metrics, and dashboards that measure business value, efficiency, and impact. Identify problems, review data, and determine root causes to provide multiple practical solutions, pushing for challenging goals. In Finance, a key metric might be a 50% reduction in quarterly close cycle time; in HR, a 40% improvement in time-to-hire through AI-powered screening.
Adapts, Collaboration & Influence:
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with unknowns and ambiguity. Use critical thinking and problem-solving to navigate challenges, make sound decisions, and deliver business value. Work with others, address competing priorities, and motivate change through effective communication and negotiation. This includes developing responsible AI policies with G&A functions to ensure ethical AI solutions.
Product Acumen & AI/ML Expertise:
Apply deep expertise in AI, automation, MLOps, LLMs, and Generative AI to identify platform technologies and capabilities for impactful use cases across enterprise functions. Include how technical concepts are integrated into product requirements for data pipelines, model training infrastructure, and responsible AI tooling.
Communicates & Stakeholder Engagement:
Deliver impactful technical presentations and clear documentation to articulate platform strategy, value proposition, and progress. Serve as a spokesperson and build networks with key decision-makers. Communicate product decisions clearly to ensure alignment across teams, including presenting AI strategy to senior leaders in Finance, People, & Legal functions.

Experience in identifying and prioritizing AI solutions that drive financial ROI and operational efficiency in a corporate G&A environment. Proven success in managing the entire Product lifecycle, including ideation, incorporating internal user feedback into requirements, driving prioritization, and leading pre/post-launch execution with measurable impact on business outcomes and value. Demonstrated strategic mindset, strong business acumen and unconstrained thinking in disrupting technology. Strong technical background in AI/ML, well-versed in LLMs, Generative AI concepts, MLOps principles, and their practical application in building scalable platform services.
