This job serves as a sophisticated thought partner, identifying issues and recommending best practices to improve procurement processes. They lead functional projects and programs, conduct analyses of market trends and supplier capabilities, and collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and risk mitigation in procurement activities. Essential Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with PayPal's strategic goals and objectives. Manage the procurement process for goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Conduct category and supplier analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvement. Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing strategies meet business needs. Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreements and quality standards. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support continuous improvement. Identify and evaluate potential vendors, ensuring they meet PayPal's standards. Implement best practices in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare and present sourcing reports and recommendations to management, providing insights and analysis. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Compensation and Benefits
PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The total compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
