We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Lead specializing in
SAP FICO
(Financial Accounting and Controlling) to play a pivotal role in bridging Finance, Accounting, Controlling, and IT teams. This position will lead the design and implementation of solutions across key SAP modules including GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger. Experience with Rights Management Systems and S/4HANA implementations is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a performance-driven mindset suited to a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions in collaboration with developers Lead design, testing, and implementation of SAP FICO configurations to support financial processes Configure and maintain modules such as GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger Partner with Finance, Accounting, Rights Management, and Sales Operations to deliver tailored SAP solutions Manage enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous process improvements within the SAP FICO landscape Support finance-related projects and SAP system upgrades, ensuring operational integrity Create detailed functional specs for enhancements, reports, and interfaces Integrate SAP FICO with downstream systems like SAP IPM, BW, and BPC Train end-users and develop clear process documentation Support quarter-end and year-end close activities, ensuring compliance with audit requirements Develop and maintain specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) Maintain data accuracy and integrity in financial and controlling systems Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (Advanced degree a plus) Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience across core modules (GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, Special Purpose Ledger) Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations preferred Familiarity with Rights Management Systems and integration points with FICO Knowledge of related SAP modules (MM, SD) and Fiori apps related to FICO Experience in the media and entertainment industry is a plus Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with limited supervision Conceptual thinker with the ability to deliver business-aligned and regulatory-compliant solutions Proven ability to work within global teams and achieve cross-functional outcomes Compensation
