Overview Firecrawl, the top web data collection tool for AI apps, is growing rapidly. We need your help architecting our web scraping and agent infrastructure. You will work closely with the founders to implement and experiment with new techniques on the cutting edge of browser automation, applying SOTA and open-source models to generalize web extraction at scale, and building libraries and tools to help AI interact with the web.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement web scraping and agent infrastructure.

Collaborate with founders to experiment with new techniques in browser automation.

Apply state-of-the-art (SOTA) and open-source models to web extraction at scale.

Build libraries and tools to help AI interact with the web.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of experience in development.

Proficiency with advanced web automation, including topics such as web scraping with web driver frameworks (Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium).

Experience with LLM agents.

About the Role You’ll work closely with the founders to implement and experiment with new techniques on the cutting edge of browser automation. You will experiment with applying SOTA and open-source models to generalize web extraction at scale, along with building better libraries and tools to help AI interact with the web.

Interview Process Our interview process is designed to be thorough yet respectful of your schedule. It includes 2.5 hours of interviews (in-person or via video) and a 2–3 hour take-home challenge. Round 1 – 15 min interview to discuss your background and goals. Round 2 – 1 hour technical interview. Round 3 – 2–3 hour take-home coding/problem-solving challenge. Round 4 – 1 hour culture fit interview. If all goes well, a job offer with compensation and benefits will be sent promptly.
