TEKsystems is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our enterprise clients. This is a hybrid role available in multiple Southern U.S. cities (Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh-Durham, NC). The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect with deep Salesforce expertise and a passion for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end solution design from concept through delivery. Produce architecture documentation for business applications and maintain system documentation. Collaborate with business units, delivery teams, and SMEs to define and refine technical requirements. Design solution components and interactions to meet business outcomes. Partner with domain architects (Data, Security, Infra, Cloud, DevOps) to ensure cohesive architecture governance. Facilitate solution design and emerging technology workshops. Evaluate and validate third-party/vendor solutions. Align IT strategy with business goals in collaboration with EPMO and stakeholders. Serve as a technical advisor to technology leaders. Ensure architectural alignment and quality across Salesforce and integrated systems. Required Skills
Proven experience in Salesforce application development and architecture. Strong software engineering experience with proficiency in Apex and at least one of: C#, Java, Go, or Node. Familiarity with design patterns and business process modeling (BPMN/UML). Understanding of application security principles (e.g., OWASP). Experience with enterprise integration platforms (e.g., IBM ESB, WSO2). Working knowledge of Linux/Windows OS, networking principles, and DevOps/CI-CD tooling. Exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and services like API Gateways, Serverless, NoSQL, etc. Experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker). Preferred Experience
Experience in large financial institutions or consulting environments is a plus. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and business needs. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be specific to elections, plan, or program terms.
