$80.00/hr - $93.72/hr Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end architecture and integration of Zuora with financial systems and additional enterprise applications Design and implement payment flows supporting postbate subscribers (end-of-month billing) and rebate subscribers (pay-as-you-go) Architect solutions to support multiple payment types, including electronic checks (routing/account numbers), credit cards, and e-box direct bank account connections Define and implement integration points across AWS, Node.js, and serverless (Lambda) environments Produce detailed architecture and design documentation, presenting ideas to leadership and defending decisions through review processes Partner with development and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient delivery of Zuora integrations Serve as the subject matter expert for billing, payments, and financial integration best practices Requirements
Proven experience architecting and integrating Zuora or similar enterprise billing systems Strong background in billing models, payment flows, and financial system integrations Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions within AWS, including serverless (Lambdas) Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript environments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; Ability to defend architectural decisions in high-pressure environments Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and design scalable solutions Preferred Skills
Experience with payments processing systems, financial platforms, or rebates/postbate billing models Deep knowledge of secure payment integration methods (e.g., credit card tokenization, ACH/e-check, direct bank connections) Prior experience in large-scale enterprise environments with cross-system integrations Background in telecommunications, subscription services, or other industries with complex billing operations The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
