Kforce is seeking a Billing Solutions Architect to support a Fortune 500 telecommunications company in Saint Louis, MO. This role is critical to the success of the client's billing initiative, ensuring seamless billing operations and accurate financial flows across service and device promotions. Work across three functional areas: Configuration & Promotion Enablement (architecting solutions to support service/device promotions), Triage & Issue Resolution (diagnosing and resolving billing-related issues), and Software Solutioning & SDLC Oversight (driving full lifecycle solutioning from intake through testing). Key Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into scalable billing architecture designs Lead solutioning efforts across monthly intake cycles (~20-25 tickets/month) Define APIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scope and requirements are complete Partner with software development teams to guide implementation through the full SDLC: intake, grooming, development, testing, and deployment Ensure billing accuracy and integrity across promotions and upgrades Approve business requirements, functional specs, and testing strategies to ensure architectural alignment Collaborate with stakeholders to apply architecture standards and negotiate design decisions Requirements
6-10 years of experience designing or configuring software applications (Level III); 10+ years preferred (Level IV) Proven experience in telecommunications billing systems Strong understanding of billing flows, financial reconciliation, and upgrade logic Ability to think through complex business scenarios and translate them into technical solutions Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with Amdocs billing platforms Background in mobile billing systems Familiarity with API definition and integration patterns The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay is based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
