Location:
Alexandria, VA (2 days tele-work weekly). 40% remote. 6 month contract to permanent hire. Top Secret (SCI Eligible) clearance required. Salary: $145,000 – $150,000/year. Role:
Splunk Engineer supporting a large DoD/government client. Candidates must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment. Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Splunk Core, Enterprise Security, and other premium Splunk applications. Onboard new data sets and review health of ingested data. Manage data inputs and indexing; troubleshoot Splunk Enterprise architecture and issues related to user access and data integrity. Deploy technical add-ons and application plug-ins to establish baseline dashboards and alerts for various technologies. Support teams in using Splunk for log analysis and monitoring through guidance of panel and dashboard development best practices. Design efficient and reusable reports and dashboards to integrate multiple mission applications’ health, performance, and operational data into Splunk. Qualifications
Security+ CE 8+ years of overall IT experience Strong background in Splunk with ability to build, maintain, and develop in Splunk environments Experience in onboarding data, monitoring, and dashboard development Benefits and Programs
