Responsibilities
Implement security controls for a COTS Enterprise Asset Management software
Prepare systems security documentation for all system changes and upgrades; work closely with customer, operations team management, and other Information Assurance personnel to guide paperwork through approval process, and maintain configuration baseline of approved implementation
Identify, report, monitor, manage, and properly remediate all system security vulnerabilities and infractions.
Apply security expertise to Government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.
Perform analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
Provide integration and implementation of computer system security solutions
Perform and/or support risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.
Originate and manage all application software security documentation through applicable Department change and configuration management boards.
Ensure that all information systems are functional and secured according to approved Department configuration baselines.
Support all Department Information Assurance requirement efforts.
Perform related tasks and other duties as assigned by the System Program Manager.
Qualifications
Three to five years of direct experience is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Dependable, great attitude and team player.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Security Clearance – minimum Interim DoD Secret clearance with eligibility to receive a DoD Top Secret clearance.
Hybrid schedule with 3 days on site in Alexandria/Kingstown, VA.
