This executive-level position offers an exceptional opportunity to shape environmental policy, drive sustainable development, and lead a talented team of professionals. Position Overview
As Senior Director, you'll spearhead strategic growth initiatives while overseeing complex environmental compliance projects across Southern California. This role combines executive leadership with technical expertise in CEQA/NEPA compliance, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact on regional environmental stewardship. Essential Responsibilities
Direct and oversee all CEQA/NEPA compliance documentation and technical studies Lead a dynamic team of 25+ environmental professionals Develop and maintain strategic client relationships across public and private sectors Drive business development initiatives and proposal strategies Ensure project quality control and regulatory compliance Manage multi-million dollar project budgets and resources Collaborate with regulatory agencies and key stakeholders Expand service offerings and market presence in Southern California Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or related field 15+ years of environmental planning and compliance experience Proven expertise in CEQA/NEPA regulations and implementation Demonstrated success in business development and client relations Strong network within Southern California's environmental sector Excellence in team leadership and project management Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in related field Professional certifications (AICP, PMP, etc.) Published works or speaking engagements in environmental planning Compensation & Benefits
