BCG Attorney Search
A law firm seeks a Senior Counsel for Litigation in Portland, ME. The role involves providing comprehensive legal services and supporting the development of other attorneys. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience, with a strong background in legal research and complex civil litigation. A judicial clerkship is preferred.
Duties
Research complex legal matters and provide sound advice. Author high-quality written materials to support client needs. Represent clients in various forums, including court appearances. Collaborate with attorneys and staff both in-person and virtually. Mentor and support the training of other attorneys. Assign work to associates, paralegals, and legal assistants. Present educational materials on latest legal developments. Accurately account for time spent on client and firm matters. Operate with autonomy and professionalism. Requirements
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Admission to the New Hampshire or Maine Bar in good standing. Excellent writing skills and ability to provide written analysis. Ability to advise on complex litigation topics. Demonstrated mastery of legal skills. Education
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Certifications
Bar admission in New Hampshire or Maine. Skills
Strong legal research and writing abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to mentor and train junior attorneys. Hybrid work arrangement with a set schedule.
