Vice President, Financial Operations & Analysis at Heitman. Our Financial Operations & Analysis (FOA) department is looking to hire a Vice President to join their team. The FOA team provides timely, accurate, and critical financial data analysis for the firm and works cross-functionally with internal groups such as Portfolio & Asset Management and Client Service & Marketing, and external service providers. Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports and supporting accounting workpapers from our third-party fund administrator. Lead in review and final approval of complex accounting transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and waterfall calculations. Review and approve IRR’s and time-weighted returns and provide analytical observations and projections to Portfolio & Asset Management. Lead in coordination, review and analysis of quarterly property and debt valuations, collaborating with Heitman’s Capital Markets, Portfolio & Asset Management, Research, and Acquisition teams throughout the process. Leverage relationships both inside and outside of Heitman and technical expertise to effectively and efficiently resolve questions/issues and determine best practices and improved processes. Participate in ad hoc projects, including due diligence review of real estate acquisitions and dispositions, leasehold analysis, and consultant/client questionnaires or other projects to assist Portfolio Management in improving investor value and client service. Assist department leaders and other senior stakeholders within Heitman to develop and complete strategic initiatives, such as launching new funds, developing new organizational processes, and other key projects. Manage relationships with third-parties, including clients, fund administrators, consultants, JV operators, property managers, appraisers, auditors, and other key individuals. Assist Portfolio & Asset Management in implementing fund/account-level and investment specific strategies. Exhibit ability to perform multiple projects, navigate through unexpected challenges, and develop viable solutions that optimize fund/account performance. Lead communication of analysis and results to broader internal team, including department, investment committee, Client Service & Marketing, and valuation committee. Mentor direct reports and others on their dedicated team as it relates to career development, address staffing needs and navigate performance management and team issues. Introduce fund/account and platform-level efficiencies and oversee implementation of improvements, including the development of tech-enabled tools. Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of real estate accounting and finance experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Proficiency in Microsoft Office package including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent communicator with strong writing skills Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage requests from multiple business partners under tight deadlines Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment Supervisory experience directly and indirectly Experience in valuation and/or Argus modeling is a plus Job Location and Travel

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000 and will be further discussed during the interview process. All of our team members are bonus eligible and participate in a generous annual bonus plan, with the percentage varying based on role and level.
