About the Role: The Vice President Sell-Thru & Education is responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives and managing the commercial relationships with retail partners to ensure successful product placement, distribution, and revenue growth. This leader will partner closely with regional managers and Sales Education Executives to deliver business objectives, optimize retail performance, and strengthen brand presence within key cosmetic retail channels. Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the sell-thru strategy across all retail channels. Define annual sales targets, revenue goals, and create strategies around company priorities in alignment with global objectives. Generate new distribution opportunities to expand market share and strengthen brand positioning.
Retailer Relationship Management
Serve as the senior point of contact for top retail accounts, ensuring strong partnerships and collaborative business planning. Lead joint business planning sessions with retailers, aligning on sales forecasts, marketing support, and inventory management. Negotiate terms, promotional calendars, and exclusives to maximize retail opportunities.
Team Management & Development
Lead, mentor, and grow the Sell-Thru team, ensuring best-in-class account management and business development practices. Establish KPIs and hold the team accountable for sales targets, forecasting accuracy, and execution excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Marketing and Education to build strong go-to-market plans for new launches and promotional activations. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, demand planning, and profitability. Work with Visual Merchandising to optimize in-store presence and execution.
Performance & Analytics
Drive sell-out performance and identify opportunities to close gaps. Provide business reporting, sales analysis, and actionable insights to executive leadership. Stay ahead of beauty industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving retail dynamics.
Qualifications
12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within beauty, cosmetics, or consumer goods. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals in a retail-driven business. Strong retailer relationships (e.g., Sephora, Ulta, Macy’s, Nordstrom, mass retail partners). Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Analytical mindset with experience in sales forecasting, P&L management, and retail analytics. What Orveon Offers You
