Title: Attorney – Business Immigration Location:
Redmond, WA (100% Onsite, 5 days a week) Schedule:
Monday – Friday, standard core hours, with up to 5 hours of overtime About the Role We are seeking a
Business Immigration Attorney
to join our legal team in Redmond, WA. This role supports high-volume U.S. business immigration operations and requires a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. The Attorney will be responsible for petition review, I-9 compliance, E-Verify support, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of daily immigration filings. Responsibilities
Review and support the preparation of non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings. Conduct research on legal precedent, immigration regulations, and case-specific facts. Train and guide administrative staff on USCIS filings, documentation, and PERM postings. Respond to immigration-related queries from employees, including visa, green card, travel, and status maintenance. Perform legal review of filings (onsite and remote) to ensure compliance and accuracy. Support resolution of complex I-9 and E-Verify issues. Partner with managers on PERM requirements during applicant review. Identify opportunities for process improvements to strengthen compliance, efficiency, and employee experience. Qualifications
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited university, with active admission to the bar. Experience:
Minimum 1+ years of immigration law experience (business preferred, but family-based acceptable). Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration law, regulations, and compliance practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a high-volume environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Preferred Experience
Prior work handling high-volume immigration cases. Experience supporting complex E-Verify issue resolution. Demonstrated ability to train and mentor administrative staff. What’s in it for You
