About the job you’re considering We are seeking an experienced Senior Verification Engineer to lead verification efforts for embedded and mobile systems in the MedTech industry. The ideal candidate will drive verification strategies, manage a team of engineers, and ensure compliance with medical device regulations. Your Role

Lead Verification Strategy:

Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for embedded and mobile systems used in MedTech applications. Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of verification engineers, promoting a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Test Development:

Design and implement both automated and manual test cases for embedded firmware, mobile applications (iOS/Android), and integrated systems. Compliance & Standards:

Ensure all verification activities align with relevant medical device regulations such as ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and FDA guidelines. Defect Management:

Lead root cause analysis and resolution of defects, ensuring proper traceability and documentation. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with software, hardware, and QA teams to synchronize verification efforts with development milestones. Tooling & Infrastructure:

Select, configure, and maintain verification tools, frameworks, and environments to support efficient testing workflows. Reporting & Documentation:

Generate detailed verification reports, metrics, and dashboards for internal teams and external stakeholders. Your Skills and Experience

Proven experience in MedTech product development and verification. Strong understanding of embedded systems and mobile platforms (Android/iOS). Experience with cloud-connected medical devices and mobile health applications. Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy in medical systems. Familiarity with medical device standards and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in scripting and test automation tools (e.g., Python, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines). Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Certifications such as ISTQB, ASQ, or equivalent are a plus. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in software/hardware verification, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Life at Capgemini

Salary range information is disclosed in compliance with pay transparency laws. The base range for this location is $86,900 - $192,460. This role may be eligible for additional compensation such as bonus or commissions. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other eligible programs.
