This role is part of EY’s SAP practice and sits within the Technology Consulting sub-service line. Your Opportunity
As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that implemented solutions meet these requirements. You will collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver effective system architecture solutions. Key Responsibilities
Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis. Oversee program/project management and ensure engagement economics are met. Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements. Deliver quality client service, monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes. Demonstrate leadership within diverse teams, provide coaching and feedback to team members and professionals. Drive business growth by generating new opportunities and presenting strategic solutions to serve clients. Establish and sustain long-term client relationships and collaborate with EY teams to meet client needs. Enhance client operations by optimizing end-to-end processes related to SAP Transportation Management (TM). Configure, design, build, test, and deploy core S/4 Transportation Management solutions and ensure integration with related solutions. Lead workshops to guide critical design decisions with clear, industry-leading recommendations. Ensure accountability for client solutions delivered and navigate SAP TM environment components. Collaborate with technical leaders to estimate efforts for customizations and enhancements and articulate architectural needs for solutions beyond SAP including interfaces and cloud implications. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to deliver SAP S/4 Transportation Management solutions. Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred. Typically, 9 years of relevant experience with one or more SAP modules. Proven leadership experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP TM implementations in roles such as workstream lead, engagement lead, or Solution Architect. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills. Experience managing SAP projects or work streams and overseeing project-based team members. Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, and industry-specific finance and technology functions. Ability to research client inquiries, emerging issues, regulations, industry practices, and new technologies. Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40-60%. Ideally, experience leading teams and managing change; prior consulting experience; SAP certification(s). What We Look For
