This is a Remote/Hybrid position; the applicant can work from home but must be able to go to immigration court with clients in Washington State. Associate Immigration Attorney
to focus on
removal and detention defense . This role is for someone who thrives under pressure, can stay calm in high-stakes situations, and is motivated by protecting clients facing deportation. You will represent clients in immigration court and detention facilities, prepare filings, and manage complex, fast-moving cases. You’ll have the support of a skilled legal team but must be confident in handling your own caseload and court appearances. This is more than legal work — it’s standing with people at the hardest moments of their lives. What We’re Looking For
A passionate advocate who can manage stress with focus and clarity Strong courtroom presence and the ability to argue persuasively before immigration judges Experience with detained and removal cases (bond motions, asylum in court, cancellation of removal, waivers, etc.) Excellent communicator who builds trust quickly with clients and their families Organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple urgent deadlines Culturally competent and deeply respectful of client diversity Qualifications
2+ years of experience in immigration law (removal/deportation defense strongly preferred) J.D. from an accredited law school Active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction; WA preferred) Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills Spanish, Hindi, Mandarin, or other language fluency a major plus Join Us If You:
