Job Description Messa Sync is seeking a detail-oriented and articulate
Communications Specialist
to join our team in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will support internal and external communications, develop written materials, and ensure consistent brand messaging across channels. This role is critical to maintaining strong company communication and supporting leadership with strategic messaging.
Responsibilities
Draft, edit, and proofread internal and external communications
Assist in creating press releases, memos, newsletters, and presentations
Collaborate with departments to ensure message alignment and brand consistency
Prepare talking points, briefing documents, and reports for leadership
Monitor and report on communication performance and engagement metrics
Maintain communication schedules and ensure timely delivery of content
Support crisis communication planning and execution when necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, or related field
2+ years of experience in a professional communications role
Exceptional writing and editing skills (AP style preferred)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with communication planning and stakeholder engagement
