The Substance Use Disorder Program (SUDP) Director is responsible for ensuring available SUD services align with VA-DoD Clinical Practice Guidelines. The incumbent will oversee the SUDP Program Manager who implements the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), oversee other prescribers within SUDP and the Buprenorphine Outpatient Clinic, and supervise health professions trainees within SUDP including psychiatry residents during their clinical rotation. The director will act as the site director for rotations and promote a Veteran-centered, shared decision‑making (SDM) approach to move Veterans through the SUD continuum based on individual needs and preferences. Must implement measurement-based care to individualize treatment based on recurring assessments of Veteran needs. Improve SUD care through participation in VA facility and national quality improvement initiatives. The incumbent will collaborate with VA facility women’s health and women’s mental health champions to ensure substance use treatment tailored to women Veterans’ needs, including preconception, pregnancy and postpartum care. The director will keep specialty SUD and other clinical staff informed on the latest developments in SUD prevention and treatment through participation in VA facility, CBOC and national teleconferences and continuing education. Ensure evidence-based harm reduction interventions are available to all Veterans with SUD in line with current VHA guidance and oversee operation of specialty SUD programs in accordance with VHA policies. Responsibilities

Salary range of $270,000 to $335,000 with benefits including:
