Global Head of Assets

is responsible for asset management to strengthen the business and product portfolio, aligning with the company's overall long-term strategy. This position (with a team of Global Asset Managers) works closely with the Board of Directors, CEO, and the Gowan Leadership Team to set business objectives to achieve sales growth and profitability targets across the crop protection business. The role requires leadership in the agricultural sector, in navigating acquisitions, developing strategic partnerships, designing creative deal structures, and setting global product strategies that will drive desired results. Full-Time-Salaried-Exempt Role & Responsibilities

Lead Asset Management: Direct and manage the assets team responsible for overseeing product portfolio management, acquisitions, and asset divestments across the organization. Collaborate with Business Development: Work with the business development team to identify strategic opportunities for acquisitions, product enhancements, cross-licenses, and other collaborations to augment Gowan’s portfolio. Facilitate Acquisition Strategy: Partner with asset teams, country leaders, and R&D to identify market needs and prioritize strategic investments. Lead discussions on asset prioritization and investments. Industry Networking: Maintain and expand a broad network within the crop protection and adjacent industries to foster relationships that provide opportunities, partnerships, and market insights. Drive Business Growth: Align asset management strategies with global growth, financial objectives, and market demand. Drive Business Excellence: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to drive superior performance and sustainable growth. Education & Experience

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Biology, or a related field. Preferred Education:

Master’s Degree in Business (MBA), Master’s Degree in Ag-Science or a related discipline. Required Experience:

Minimum 10+ years of leadership experience in business asset management, general management, or business development in the agriculture or crop protection industry. Competencies / Skills / Abilities

Industry Knowledge: Strong background in agriculture and understanding of future industry challenges. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across departments. Networking: Track record of building and maintaining relationships within the crop protection industry and adjacent sectors. Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work effectively in a global business environment. Problem Solving: Creative thinking and ability to structure complex deals including cross-licenses, partnerships, and asset purchases. Execution: Strong organizational skills and the ability to execute strategic initiatives; proven negotiation skills for complex deals; deep experience in agriculture and industry trends; excellent communication and collaboration across functions; strategic thinking and business acumen with M&A experience. Job Expectations / Working Conditions

Travel Requirements: 25%-50% travel for business meetings, conferences, and partnership development domestically and internationally. Working Environment: Primarily office-based with collaboration across multiple regions, teams, and locations. Seniority level
