Strategic Employment Partners (SEP) is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join a core team driving major platform modernization for a nationally recognized technology company in the logistics and compliance space. The role supports a shift toward distributed architecture and scalable solutions that power real-time operations across the U.S. 100% Remote (U.S. based). What You’ll Do
Design and build .NET Core APIs within a cloud-first, service-oriented ecosystem Architect event-driven systems using Azure Service Bus or similar technologies Guide the evolution from monolith to microservices while applying modern design principles Contribute to technical strategy and mentor peers as a key engineering voice Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable, mission-critical applications Requirements
5+ years building scalable .NET Core applications Solid grasp of DDD, SOA, or event-driven architecture patterns Strong communication skills and ownership mindset Nice to Have
Experience with Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or MassTransit CQRS, event sourcing, or distributed messaging background Familiarity with actor model tools (e.g., Microsoft Orleans) Seniority level
